All proceeds from the China Aoki`i and prints sold in 2008 will be donated through my friends in China to help rebuild educational facilities in China damaged in the earthquake. From about 1987 to 1999 I traveled to China several times a year in support of my laser test equipment business, as journalist for Laser Focus magazine, and a consultant to American and Japanese companies on laser technology in China. My primary sponsor was the Chinese Academy of Science and Dr. Zhu Huanan of the Institute of Physics in Beijing.
